Two problems related to tank mounting have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Broken vent on fuel tank caused gas fumes when tank was full. Dealer replaced tank at a cost of $500 to me. Said was not under warranty due to vehicle age.
Noise from gas tank when accelerating, due to broken baffle/tray inside.
