2000 Chrysler minivan " clock spring recall #d17 " I would like the NHTSA to know that Chrysler corporation is not following through this safety recall properly I have been trying to have my van 's clock spring recall done for the last 5 months and the dealership kees telling me that the parts are on back order I contacted a few dealerships and they all tell me that the replacement parts are on back order ,now my self and 100's of thousands of other Chrysler minivan owners are driving around with "no horn and a inoperative air bag" which is not safe at all my vehicle will not even pass the state inspection due to this condition please investigate this.

Recall for clock spring was issued. Vehicle has more than 70,000 miles. Recall# 04v480000.
Dealership will not repair recall 04v480000 concerning clock spring unless the part failed. The problem was not resolved. Ross Chrysler 828-264-3626. Recall campaign: the consumer took the vehicle in for an oil change and inquired about the recall letter and the vehicle was serviced for the recall.
