Two problems related to automatic transmission gear indicator have been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Gear shift lever engages without foot on brakes. Consumer had hand resting on shift lever and foot resting on floor, and weight of his hand slid into gear, and ran into the garage. Dealer advised to call phone number in back of owner's manual. It was nothing he could do about it.
Vehicle is able to shift into gear with out applying the brake. Dealer has been notified.
