The awd drive component of our vehicle is causing problems, and I am concerned that there may be a safety aspect. There is squealing noise at low speed, a roar at high speed and poor gas milage for this type of vehicle. It feels as if something is bound up in the transmission and I am concerned that something could break loose and enter the passenger compartment. The dealership agrees that there is a problem with the vehicle, but Chrysler refuses to acknowledge the problem and asserts that it is a characteristic of the vehicle.
