Have an o5 t&c Chrysler touring - have had to replace the brakes 2x under 30k. Car currently has less than 40k miles and have been told that the rack and pinion needs to be replaced. The car was making a loud whining noise when trying to steer. Was louder when cold. Steering was getting harder to do. Dealer is replacing rack and pinion for approx $900.
