Backed out of the driveway, headlights flickered, would not stay on, high beam worked, low beams came on, went off several times, would not stay on. This is for the date today 9/16/15, the date field above doesn't accept numerals.
Turned the lights on as it was getting dark while driving and even on high beams it was if headlights were barely on. Also the left front blinker failed although the back blinker did work but flashed extremely fast. Replaced both headlights and still have to use headlights on bright to see as if the lights are on dim. The left front blinker and side light failed within a month of relacement. When replaced again, there was no change. The blinker/side light failed to operate.
Headlights. Dont work when they need 2. Have big problems a they go on and off when I wants 2. When car is turned on dont work parked moving. I need help.
Headlights shut off by themselves while driving. This happens very often while driving at any time of the day. This is a huge safety concern.
Driving at 65 mph on interstate, the warning "ding" went off as if a door was open, then the gauges started to sweep erratically, at the same time several dashboard lights flashed on and off. The odometer and prdnl lights flicker, as well as the head lights. It continued to happen going down the road at any given moment. I have noticed that it is more frequent when raining and when I accelerate, pulling on the engine. The headlights, odometer, and prndl flicker at an idle. If it begins the happen, I can stop the van, shut it off, then restart it and this usually solves the problem. I have checked the battery connections, replaced the battery, none of these has resolved this problem. As I have researched this on the internet, I see this as a common problem for 2005 Dodge/Chrysler vans. Some report stalling, which can be a very serious problem. Mine has not done that yet.

Headlights turned off while driving at night.
My headlights started giving me problems in the winter. First, I noticed that they flickered when I hit a bump, and then went completely off. If I put on the brights they would work. It never happened again until recently. They went completely off for the entire 2 hour drive. I had to hold the brights on to see. Now they don't even come on at all except for the brights. I stopped at Chrysler and he seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. There needs to be a recall after so many complaints. Its dangerous.

I own a 2005 Chrysler town and country and have been having issues with the headlights going out or not turning on. I have had it checked but it only happens on occasion so they can't find anything wrong. My wife has been driving home at night and the light just went out and then she couldn't see. From looking online I have seen numerous people have this issue and it needs to be fixed. Thanks.
The headlights don't come on right-a-way. It takes about 4-10 attempts before they come on. A couple of times they turned off a second or two after a successful attempt to turn them on. This has been going on for the past 2 months, but now it has become more frequent to the point where it happens every time we need to use the lights.
Headlights malfunction at random times while driving they will turn off, flash or not even turn on when needed. This has been happening for almost a year now, and is very unsafe for me to drive with no headlights.
Headlights on 2005 Chrysler town and country shut off intermittently while driving. Also, the lights take 6 or more tries in the morning to come on. I have had about 4 mornings in the last 6 or 7 days where they will not come on initially. It is becoming a very dangerous situation that they will shut off while driving and will not come on in the early mornings. I have 2 small children and got this van to keep them safe, not put them in harms way. . . . . . Please help.

My headlights go off while driving at night. It has been a inconsistent problem for months now. I is a very dangerous condition. I would appreciate your resolution.
Driving our 05 Town & Country in heavy traffic through a construction zone on a rainy night, the headlights suddenly stopped working. My 2 babies were in the car with us, and thankfully the headlights failed near the end of the construction zone, and we were able to pull off the road and avoid an accident. Searching the internet when we got home, we discovered that this is a known issue with the caravan / Town & Country. Please force a recall before people are seriously injured or killed.
Shortly after purchasing the vehicle (new) the headlights would occasionally not turn on. The dealer would not do anything without seeing the problem till the warranty ran out, then they offered to sell one to me. The problem would occur 1-2x per month more or less till now. Tonight the lights continued to turn on and off while driving on the interstate. Reading online tonight it looks like many more owners are experiencing similar issues.

Flickering headlights and display functions, causing lights to dim to a dangerous level at night.
I have the same intermittent headlight problem as described in the below article but my Chrysler Town & Country is a 2005. It appears the problem is not limited to 2001-2002 model years. I am afraid to drive this vehicle at night. The headlights sometimes suddenly turn off while driving (although the running lights stay on) or when starting up the vehicle the headlights won't turn on. . Read more...
Headlights turn off without warning and fail to turn on during night time driving. Vehicle must be stopped and restarted for headlights to activate (which doesn't always work on the first attempt). Very dangerous condition. First date of incident is an estimate--condition has occurred over 6 times in past two years.
The headlights on our new 2005 Chrysler town and country minivan turn off during operation. We've taken it to the garage (it's still under warranty) and the mechanic advises that he has seen this same problem on several vehicles. He was unable to locate the cause of the problem. This is an extremely dangerous condition at night, as the driving lights cut out without warning and do not reactivate by turning the light switch off and on.
While driving at night the headlights failed. Intermittently headlights would come on then off again, causing poor visibility when raining/fog.
Headlights cut off intermittently while driving. The cause of this problem is undetermined.
The headlights can not be adjusted up. When driving, the headlights are not illuminating the road clearly. The front end angle changes. The consumer stated that the vehicle is safe while driving under 30 mph. The area the light hits is bad enough to start with as fuel is consumed it gets worse.
