1 Ignition Switch problem

Failure Date: 08/24/2014

We rented a 2014 Chrysler town and country to drive to florida with our 2 year old son. While driving 68 mph, my husband's knee hit the key, which turned the engine off as well as all power to the minivan. Luckily, traffic was light and we were able to coast over to the emergency lane without incident. The experience was extremely scary and unnerving. I am not looking forward to the return trip home due to this. The key being able to come loose is unacceptable and does not make one feel safe while driving. With all the ignition switch recalls, my mind is not as ease in this minivan and makes me fear for our safety. There should be a locking mechanism to prevent this from happening. I will not be recommending this vehicle to family and friends. This is by far one of the scariest things I've experienced.
