While exiting our parked 2015 town and country, the driver side active headrest on my wife’s van went off. There was no collision or jarring of the vehicle. We contacted the dealer and were told it would have to be repaired out of pocket. I have seen this problem online and feel as though a recall should have been in place.
While parked, engine not running and un-occupied, the front passenger head rest deployed. Internal parks were observed to be broken and unable to return the head rest to it's closed position.
The head rest on the driver's seat deployed while sitting in our driveway, unoccupied. It is the same problem with the active head rest inadvertent deployment detailed in pe19-014.
Driver seat got stuck in up position. Seat will not go down and peddles won't adjust. The air bag in the head rest discharged while sitting at a red light. Not very satisfied. 388rks.
I was driving on a side street at approximately 20mph when a very loud noise and impact to the back of my head happened. I swerved and slammed the brakes. After I was stopped, I put the vehicle in park to investigate the situation. My ahr(active head rest) had spontaneously deployed. I was not in an accident. The deployment struck the back of my head with such force that it sent me forward. I instantly got a headache.
Active headreast has deployed due to broken plastic mount for retaining pin. Vehicle was stored in carport when malfunction occurred.
While the vehicle was stationary, the driver side head rest popped out and will not snap back in place.
Drivers side head rest popped apart while I was sitting in the vehicle!! it's spring loaded and the only thing holding it together are 2 small plastic clips!! I was not in motion when it happened!!.
Vehicle struck from behind and pushed into traffic sustaining rear, front and side collisions. Only passenger side curtain airbag inflated, no other airbags inflated. Also both driver and passenger seat backs failed resulting in fatal injuries to driver and serious injuries to passenger. The vehicle was stationary or just started moving when it was struck from behind on highway and pushed into other lanes of traffic.
