Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2011 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the vehicle was purchased from the facebook marketplace. The vehicle was taken to the dmv to be titled, and it was discovered that the title had been altered. The odometer reading was scratched off the title, and the numbers were unidentifiable. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 101,211, and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was unknown. The contact had not retrieved a carfax report.
