Power steering hose failed.
Power steering hose "blew out" while driving, causing loss of power steering fluid and functions.
When turning ,the steering wheel shuddered as if it was going to separate from the frame. This was caused by the power steering hose collapsing inside the assembly. TSB 10003546 on this issue; the dealership replaced the hose.
