The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Avenger. While driving approximately 60 mph, the contact heard a ticking and knocking noise coming from the engine. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for diagnostics where the technician stated that the engine would have to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 135,000.
