The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Avenger equipped with a nankang sport tires, size: 245/46/16. The contact was driving 65 mph when the rear passenger¿s side tire blew and caused the vehicle to shake excessively. The tire was replaced with a different brand full size tire. The defective tire was inspected and the contact discovered that the tread beading had separated from the tire. The approximate vehicle failure was 10,500 and the tire failure mileage was unknown.

The tire blew out the sidewall while driving down the highway at 70 mph. First noticed a vibration, but before the vehicle could be pulled of the highway, the entire inside if the sidewall separated. The tpms warning came on just as the tire exploded, but gave no earlier indication that there was a loss of pressure in the tire prior to the failure. The tire this complaint relates to is not listed in the tire selection options. It was a hankook optimo h727. Size 215/60r17.
