Failure Date: 05/21/2000

Vehicle was in park and the key out of ignition, transmission jumped out of gear, vehicle lost control, resulting in a crash. Dealer said it was the charactertisic of the vehicle. Please provide further information.

2 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 06/07/1999

Our 2 1/2 year old son was able to put the car in drive without pressing on brake pedal, causing the car to move forward and crash into a telephone pole.

3 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 07/01/1998

Gear shift moves out of gear if moved even if brake is not being used. The transmission was repaired but the problem still reoccure.

4 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Shift gears can be moved without applying brakes. 4- year old child was able to shift gear out of park, causing vehicle to roll down driveway into garage.

5 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Van was not started or brake depressed when the van shifted into neutral by a 3 year old boy. The van then went backwards down a driveway then across a road into woods where it stopped when it hit a tree.
