After driving at highway speeds the van would no longer shift out of 2nd gear . It would remain stuck in 2nd until the van was turned off/on. Upon restarting the cycle would complete. I was told by an independent mechanic that the transmission needed to be rebuilt and when I contacted Chrysler iwas told that I was on my own that they were not responsible. I informed them of the large number of documented problems with these vans and that this was a well known problem ,but they insisted that there were no problems and that it was my responsibility. I have an appointment with a Dodge dealer to look at the car.
