Chrysler went to far out of its way to put an option in the computer for changing this componet electrially. It is not necessary and could leave you stranded with a van full of kids in yellowstone.

The van stopped running leaving the car with no power to any system and had to turn the key back to the on position to regain power. This has happened 3 times in the past month.
