Two problems related to ignition have been reported for the 2010 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2010 Dodge grand Caravan. The contact stated that while parked, the key became stuck in the ignition and the vehicle failed to shift gears without warning. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.
Since we had the electrical recall 11v139000. We have 3 problems since the recall. . First. The radio would not work and not turn off. It was just stuck on the "accept display. The dealer fixed that and said that it was related to the recall. This past week we had two failures. The first failure, the wipers would not turn off, heated seats did not work, turn signals didn't work and the steering wheel controls didn't respond. The dealer fixed that and said that there was moisture in the heated seats element. Last night, the radio and the steering wheel controls stopped responding we have to bring the van in again today. Two malfunctions in less than a week not good.
