Consumer states that food debris was what was clogging up the area where the child safety seat buckles in and causes harness to tighten and not release, consumer feels this is a poor design for a safety feature designated for small children.

The built-in child seat shield straps need to be pulled hard to buckle. The buckle would failed to release. Sometimes after tugging on belt, it would rewind by itself. The straps put pressure against child's chest. The bottom hooks attached to belt, can come out.
