This pertains to the vehicles radio were this is common in the 8. 4 touch screen were it develops bubbles in the screen and the radio will inadvertently select random touch screen selections causeing unpredictable behavior. This is a driver distraction and safety hazard.

Radio malfunctions, favorite song/ artists displays, will continue to show same song over and over again even when not on, freezes, and no volume. Does not matter if the car is in park, driving or ideling. This has been going on for about 2 months.

Screen melted from the heat, radio glitches, usb port glitches, doesn't recognize device, uconnect glitches, screen glitches and doesn't stay connected and overheats. Sometimes the volume button too working.

While in park or driving radio glitches, changes heating cooling on seats and steering wheel changes also lights and display radio screen does not let you touch to change any information or display. Radio turns off and on, while backing up the back up camera stays on when putting in car in drive, also the car is now saying that it is a Chrysler when it is a Dodge Challenger.

All too often while driving. . . . . . . Distracting, useless weather alerts pop up on my uconnect (radio)screen. I must tap "ok" to get rid of them. I called Dodge, uconnect, and sirrius. Nothing has been successful at stopping these alerts. There is no way to disable them.

Rear trunk will not open with key fob, rear trunk button or trunk button located inside the car only way trunk can be opened is with emergency pull down thru rear back seats. Many blind spots on both sides of vehicle. . Problem with trunk just started but I've only had the vehicle for about 6 months. Also 6 days after I bought the car had to be taken back to the dealer because of transfer case leaking oil . Transfer case replaced.

My radio screen constantly keeps rebooting or going on and off. Every time I hit a bump in the street or on the highway it goes off, then I hit another small bump and it comes back on. Sometimes I don't have to do a anything, just be sitting parked, and it goes out, which in turn, I can not use my backup screen cause it's not there! that makes it dangerous cause I can not see cars or pedestrians behind me. As you know, my radio screen is key to other features that I can not use because of the constant rebooting or going off and on.

Weather alerts keep popping up on my radio screen, requiring me to read them and tap on the ok button to make them go away. They are accompanied with noise/sound to get my attention. There is no option to disable these alerts and it happens multiple times while driving to work in the morning, on my lunch break, or on my ride home. They will appear while the vehicle is in motion, which in my opinion is a safety hazard. There is no way to get them to go away unless I take my eyes of the road and read and tap on the message. I contacted uconnect and they told me to contact xm to disable that service. I contacted xm and they would not disable that service or be of any help. I would really like a way to get these messages to go away. Ideally, an option in the radio to turn them off. This happens multiple times a day/week, depending on the weather. This last happened a few days ago.

Radio and navigation screen constantly taken over by pop-up messages about weather that cannot be removed without physically touching the screen while driving, thus causing distraction to the driver. There is no option to disable these, and they pop-up as frequently as every 2-3 minutes, despite closing them. Have called dealership, sirius/xm and Dodge multiple times to no avail. Concerned that distracted driving as a result of unwanted messages popping up in large format on radio screen could result in an accident.

The uconnect radio system is not working in the cars. As such, the system reboots the radio every 30 seconds. The radio controls the backup camera among other things. Since it continuously reboots every thirty seconds, the backup camera fails and you. Cannot see people behind you. The potential for hitting pedestrians is horrible. People could be killed by this. Dodge knows about and doesn't know when it will be fixed.

Water leaking in trunk where rear fuse and battery located. Been in service over 6 times trying to fix issue. Water is leaking onto fuse panal that hold varies types fuse for safety devices. They tell me all years leak but the worst year is 2015. I giving them one last chance to fix issue, than we going lemon law way. I have been dealing with this for 4 month now and need to out to public as this is safety issue with car, it could loose varies type of safety equipment or catch fire. It all over internet about the challneger leaking, but fca denies it and they do not have anything in star system they use to diagnose, the put double sided tape to bandaid the problem to get us go away from are buying dealer where we bought it ! also stereo sound really bad and they are willing deal with it . Has hardware issue and with head unit or bluetooth unit , it hard to understand when talking thru it.

Uconnect 911 vehicle phone chip not working, white screen on radio module, and unable to control radio settings, not able to control blower for heat, ac, or defrost, multiple trips to dealer and call to customer care has not resolved issue as of yet. Head unit is on back order. Phone can not be connected to hands free system safely. 10. Dealership is not being cooperative.

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Challenger. While driving 30 mph, the contact crashed into a concrete wall while the vehicle was experiencing failures with the stereo. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the cause of the failure could not be determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage and VIN were unknown.
