The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Charger. While driving approximately 30 mph, the contact's vehicle crashed into a second vehicle. The driver side air bag partially deployed, causing a burn to the driver's left leg that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 200,000.
I was sent a notice last July 2016 about recall on passenger side air bag notice s43/NHTSA 16v-352. I am told that the remedy not available yet. When is this problem going to be fixed???.
