I just bought the car, a 2011 Charger r/t awd, and drove it home approx. 400 km. I filled the fueltank full when coming home, and left the car still for 2 days now. I have been smelling a strong gas odor on the especially when the tank is full. Today while parked in my driveway I noticed a puddle of gas under the car too. The puddle was under the right rear seat. I haven't been able to take a look, as it is minus 20 degree here now and for the next week. Even if I noticed this just reasontly, this problem has been a while hopefully this will be a matter the dealership can handle, as I can tell it is a worldwide issue I hope that the car being in norway doesn't make it an issue, as it is just as dangerous problem here. Abs wiring had a recall and replaced but the abs module is now out air bag had a recall but now the air bag clock spring is out fuel pump had an extended warranty but is now out and fuel pump needs replaced crank shaft main bearing seal needs rplaced for an oil leak but other parts have been replaced for an oil leak within the past month.
To whom it may concern, I recently had a very strong odor of gasoline inside of my vehicle and noticed my fuel efficiency didn't appear to be as good as normal. I noticed on christmas eve 12/24/18 that I had a visible fuel trail on the outside ground, near the rear passenger-side door as it was parked. I have since not driven my vehicle out of concern that the issue would result in something much worse. I have a child and will not put him or myself in danger. I'm in the process of trying to get my car to a local Dodge dealer for service assistance. Since my car has such low mileage, and I'm the original owner, it's difficult to believe that I would be dealing with a fuel leak from a 2011 vehicle. I've researched this issue and have found numerous others that have explained they've experienced the exact same problem with their 2011 Dodge Charger se or similar year/model. I'm concerned there should be a recall for this fuel leak problem, but I have not seen any mention of an actual recall issued for this. Raw fuel smell in interior of car, part number 68159764ab pickup/level unit module has cracking in housing causing fuel to leak and fumes to come into car. This module is located under the rear seat area of the car, and has 2 plastic body plugs that are supposed to seal out the fumes but they fit loose and don't seal very well, called ultimate Dodge in mountain home arkansas and told them about the complaint. They replied it was a recall, scheduled a repair on 12/14/2018 took vehicle in, dealership called me and told me that it is not covered according to the VIN #. I told them that it is leaking fuel and that it was a safety issue. They told me that they could not repair it because it wasn't under the recall. I looked it up on google there are several complaints that say its covered. This vehicle is leaking fuel so its an explosive issue and a fire hazard. Please look into this. I had to purchase the part and have it repaired for officer and public safety. This is a patrol car and the manufactures that build these vehicles should be held accountable for there vehicles.

Went to autozone for the free check engine light reading. It came back with a code p0456 which is a evap leak. My car does seem to have a light gas odor after I fill it up with gas. I have been doing research on any cars like mine suffering from the same problem. Yes they are. My problem is that since Friday the 29th of April my car started smelling like gasoline. I feel that this is a serious safety hazard. With the electrical devices and heat generating devices this could end up a death related catastrophe. My complaint is why haven't you as a safety organization done something about this. People with this type of vehicle know it is a problem and even when I took my car to the dealer they knew. I am 72 years old on a fixed income of rather miserly means and I can't afford to protect my family because of Chrysler corp. Failure to do so.
