Fog Light Switch Problems of Dodge Charger

My car front halogen lights keep going out in motion or sitting still on any type of street. I have to turn them off wait a minute and then turn them back on. We have spent thousand of dollars at the Dodge house to get this fixed and they have stated there is not recall in place at this time. We have to run the fog lights at night just to keep from wrecking. They ask on one of the question, when did this happen. Its been happening since we bought the car. The blind spot warning is working every once in a while also.

Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle both the driver side and passenger side low beam head lights would suddenly shut off. After turning the head light switch off and back on the lights would operate as normal. The cause of the failure was not determined. Additionally the fog lights were in operable. The local dealer wysup Dodge/Jeep(115 s. Grand Ave, pullman, wa) and the manufacturer were both notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 35,000. Jft.

Tl the contact owns a 2006 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the fog lights failed to illuminate while driving at night. The lights came back on, but continued to fail. The contact had to drive the rest of the way home using only the fog lights. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The contact repaired the vehicle on his own. The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The failure mileage was 83,000.

Both headlights have went out on my Charger. First it was driver headlight I could only drive with my bright lights on. If I switch them to low beam there would be no light on the driver side. After about a week trying to get in the dealership the entire light stopped working. I replaced the bulb nothing happened. Contacted dealership again there was wait. Another week went by and my passenger headlamp stopped working completely. I now have to drive with my daytime running lights and my fog lights. Brand new bulbs in both headlights still no power and no lights. No bright lights, no low beam lights. I have searched for the answer on the web. I have seen that there was an issue with the 2010-2012 Chargers with the electrical wiring burning out and causing this issue. I'm wondering if the same issues is happening with my Charger. My brother has a 2015 Chrysler 200 and is now having the exact same issue.

Mil light came on starting flashes lost power while I'm driving took it the dealership they can't find what's wrong . . . Light will go away and come back repeat the same exact thing . . . Both fog lights are completely out change the bulbs still out have to be wiring over heating.

Backing out of the driveway and noticed driver side low beam was out. Took it to the dealership and they told me to replace the bulb. Bought the bulb and approx. 4 days later low beam was out again along with the a/c going in and out. Took it back and was told this time that it was faulty wiring in the harness and needed to be replaced because it had melted, which is the same issue that was repaired in June 2012 due to the recall. Replaced the harness and on the same day of payment and retrieving the car, the passenger side fog light was out. Obviously by this point I was extremely disappointed with this problem as this was the 4th visit. Took it back a 5th time for the fog light. They replaced the bulb and after 2 days the other fog light shorted out. Absolutely fed up with the problem I decided to take the car to a different Dodge dealership. Upon diagnostic I'm told that my power distribution center is melted and fuses are cracked hence the problem with the a/c and fog lights shorting out. I've researched the problems I'm having with the car only to find out that it is a common theme amongst the same year model of my car and was even told by the dealership that the problems were only recalled in police vehicles under code m01. I was also told that if the problem isn't fixed it could lead to the vehicle being completely unable to start. After dealing with headquarters and 2 dealerships I'm being told that I'm out of warranty at 55,000 miles and the repair is $984. The dealer came back with a goodwill offer of $500 that is only valid for 30 days. To me this is an admission of guilt yet they still do not want to repair and I'm left driving in an unsafe vehicle. Corporate Chrysler told me that the problems I'm having do fit the parameters of recall m01 but since my vehicle is not on the list, I cannot be helped. What does that tell you?.
