Dodge Charger owners have reported 2 problems related to trunk lid (under the structure category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Dodge Charger based on all problems reported for the Charger.
The interior door panels are warping. I have replaced one and need to do the other. The trunk lid had no gap between the bottom of the lid and rear end, so there was a constant vibration causing the paint to flake away. If I step on the accelerator too hard, the engines rpm shoots up but the engine gets no power and the remains either at a stand still or will coast until the issue passes.

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Charger. The contact purchased his vehicle used from the dealer on March 9, 2009. Three days later, the front wheels began to shimmy badly and the trunk leaks when it rains. He took the vehicle back to the dealer and they stated that they could not balance the wheels on the front end. He was advised to visit a Dodge dealer; however, Dodge could not balance the wheels as well. Currenlty, the Dodge dealer is attempting to repair the trunk issue and possibly the wheels again. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 21,120.
