2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 06/28/2000

A tire blew up which was oem at only 14,000 miles at highway speed under no weight load in the bed. I'm in a truck club of fellow Dakota owners. At least 6 others have stated problems with the stock eagle LS tires exploding at 14,000 miles. While I only sustained damage of a blown tire and damaged rim, others have had multiple accidents with different eagle LS tires blowing at differnet times. I've contacted goodyear and Dodge directly. Unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to save the blown tire and rim for inspection. I don't expect anything personally from this but it would be nice if someone could look into this specific brand of tire. Thank you. (tiresize: 255/65/15)( dot number: tire size: 255/65/15 ).
