The contact owned a 2003 Dodge ram quad cab. While driving approximately 50-55 mph, the contact attempted to avoid crashing into a deer and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a corn field. The air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed and the vehicle was destroyed. The VIN was included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v312000 (air bags). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Tl- the contact owns a 2003 Dodge Dakota. The contact stated that while traveling 35 mph, the vehicle slid down into an embankment, and crashed into a tree. The contacts air bags never deployed. The contact sustained various injuries and under went physical therapy. The vehicle was towed to a private mechanic. The vehicles diagnosis was not determined. There was a police report filed. The manufacture was not notified. The failure mileage were 150,000 and the current mileage was 201,475.
The driver and passenger air bags did not deploy when I was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle.
The consumer stated 2003 Dodge Dakota's air bags did not deploy during a crash. The driver was traveling at 30 mph. The driver sustained some cuts, bruises and pulled muscles from the seat belt and hitting the dash. The consumer has not contacted the manufacturer. A police report was taken. This happened on August 18, 2005. The location the consumer says, was on the front right bumper. The consumer did not know if any of the air bag sensors were hit. The dealership has not been contacted. Upon inspection it was determined that he air bag sensors were hit.
While making a right turn the steering wheel failed to turn. This caused the driver to crash into a guard rail and hit debris on the shoulder of the highway. Upon impact, both air bags did not deploy. No injuries reported. Vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection, but mechanic could not determine the problem.
While stopped at a stoplight my 2003 Dodge ram pickup truck was hit in the rear and pushed off the road into a tree. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle is a total loss and my husband and I both received head and face injuries from hitting the dash and/or the steering wheel.
While driving on semi wet pavement brakes locked. As result, consumer's vehicle rear ended another vehicle. Upon impact, dual air bags did not deploy. No injuries reported.
While driving approximately 55 mph vehicle hit three cows that were in the road and the front air bags did not deploy. Driver was transported to the emergency room for treatment of back pain. Also, the driver had an appointment to check for any internal head injuries.
