Air Bag Light On problems of the 2006 Dodge Dakota

My airbag light came on when I was only driving down the road.

Took truck in for passenger side airbag recall, when change out , told me I need a new orc module. The problem is my airbag light never came on until they change my airbag. I was told there was nothing they could do, it would be my cost.
