Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problems of the 2006 Dodge Dakota

The dealer indicated that they replaced the part for NHTSA campaign number: 15v313000 (air bags). For both repairs, the repair time frame exceeded four hours. The dealer indicated that they had to remove the dashboard, which may be damaged, to complete NHTSA campaign number: 16v352000 (air bags). The contact may need to replace the dashboard to receive the front passenger air bag inflator; therefore, the dealer turned off the function and did not replace the part. The contact was uncertain if the vehicle would be repaired within a reasonable time frame. The manufacturer was notified. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

This is exactly what they told me in 2014 when I was trying to get my driver side airbag corrected. Now I need the passenger side corrected. This is a safety hazard and I don't not want to further jeopardize my family's safety. Also, I had side airbags installed prior to purchase, will these need repair, too?.
