When traveling on the highway/expressway the automatic transmission does not seem to shift to the next gear. The vehicle begins to shake and vibrate very roughly and will not accelerate to the desired speed.
While driving at any speed the transmission slipped. The vehicle vibrated uncontrollably. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the consumer that the transmission needed to be replaced. Please provide further details.

While driving 50 mph the vehicle vibrated. The dealerships mechanic informed the consumer that the problem was due to transmission failure. The dealership could neither determine the cause of the problem nor repair it.
Consumer called complaining about engine problems. Also stated that every time it overextends 4 rpms will not switch gears, transmission failed, and vehicle vibrated and died. Manufacturer was contacted, and stated that they would not do any thing because there was no recall on this vehicle.
