Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Dodge Dart

This happened to me last year around October to December and it is now happening again. I start my car and I will be driving. The car will then stop running while I'm in drive, steering wheel locks up but radio and everything will still be on. It is almost like my car died. I am then stuck wherever the car breaks down on me at and I will try and start my car. It usually take 2 or 3 times before it eventually starts back up. And I only have to turn the key over once and it will keep turning over the engine until I turn the key to turn the vehicle completely off. It also seems as if I have to sit and wait for the car to run for a minute when it does start back up before I can take off again or it will just die on me again while im driving down the road. I have no check engine light on or any other light on until it shutdown on me. Usually its the battery light of check engine light. But as soon as it starts up again they are gone. I keep up to date on my oil changes. I have no clue why it does this. I also recently changed my battery. I also had battery and alternator tested and they were good. Theres times I notice my car idling on its own when I start the car and when I take it out of park it wants to take off on its own. Both of these issues doesn't happen every time or everyday. Its scary when it does happen as I could be going down the interstate when my car randomly wants to shut down on me. It feels unsafe.

There has to be some kind of issue with my vehicles computer system. My iphone no longer connects to the car via bluetooth, the entire computer screen will shut down and reload randomly, the reverse camera goes in and out (sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn�t, and there are times when the buttons on the radio function won't work at all.

Car stops without warning, will not accelerate and dies, no warning indicators beforehand, only popping the battery light after it stops accelerating. Was trying to merge onto the highway at the time. Radio, interior lights, and emergency flashers still worked, engine would not restart. Car had to be towed home for repairs. Problem was not battery related.

Car recently died. Showed signs of a bad alternator- lights, sensors, radio shut down, power steering went out. Replaced the alternator and the battery. Drove fine for a few weeks and once again the same thing happened. I am now on alternator four and battery number three. Had the new alternator and battery put on, started the car and the battery light come on. Had the battery and alternator tested, both passed as long as radio and heat was not on. Drove the car for about 30 minutes and the car died again like the alternator was bad except it's not because it was tested. Dealership was of zero help and still can not figure out the issue. This car is a complete hazard while driving due to it dying in traffic.

Takata inflators, when driving it just dyes and losses all power no radio no nothing no power at all and won't start till it seats for about 15 to 20 mins than it will start and u can drive it does not do it all the time just when ever it wants to.

My car is currently drivable however I recently found out that I need the oil pressure monitor replaced along with the wiring in the steering system due to oil damage from the oil pressure monitor being broken. The radio and rear view camera also need to be replaced. These are too many issues for a fairly new vehicle. Apparently there have been numerous changes complaints about this vehicle but I'm continuously being told that there are no recalls despite ongoing issues with the vehicle that have to deal with manufacturing issues. The radio started malfunctioning over a year ago. The windshield wipers/oil pressure switch issues have only been happening approximately 2 months. The rear view mirror stopped working today. The car has also has issues stall no, not starting, and cutting off while the car is stopped for about a year now.

I bought my 2014 Dart brand new in January of 2015. As of today (4/9/18), it has 47,200 miles on it. I was taking residential roads to drop my daughter off at school, slowing to stop at a stop sign and turn right. I thought I slowed too much and needed to slightly accelerate to get me to the stop sign. When trying to accelerate, I realized the car had stalled, but all inside lights and radio were still on. The "battery" light (charging system light) came on and stayed on until I turned the car off. I tried to restart the car, but all it would do was try to turn over. I know it's not the battery, as it was replaced less than 6 months ago. All terminals/connections to the battery and alternator are not loose. After trying to restart the car twice, it finally started on the third try with hesitation. From there, I was able to continue to the school (less than a mile - it's only 1. 3 miles from my house to the school). When I got back home, I let the car sit for roughly 2-3 minutes and restarted it again - no hesitation. After looking for answers online, I've found at least 34 identical problems with no explanation and no help from Dodge/Chrysler. (except for one or two engine replacements). (carcomplaints. Com) I am scared to drive my car to work, as I don't want it to stall on the highway and get in an accident, especially because I have two children that are picked up from my work. This is only going to cause a fatal accident if something isn't done about this. We've had nothing but problems with this car (radio freezes and restarts intermittently, transmission will shift hard, etc. ).

I went and attempted to start the car. Car would not start. It was like the clutch would not engage. Released the clutch and re-engaged, and it started. During shifts, it didnt want to go into 3 or 6th gears. It was like the clutch is not engaging once again. Took the car back to where I purchased it, performance Dodge, and they told me that Chrysler knows of the issue but Chrysler star will not fix it. I asked how can they know that the clutch has issues, but they are not going to fix it. The employee informed me that they all are like this. Chrysler knows of the clutch issues due to all the complaints, but they still risk the lives of the individuals who purchased the vehicle by not replacing the clutch. I have also had issues with my windows not rolling up or down and the radio keeps resetting itself. They do updates, but it does not fix the radio issue. The last time I took it for the update, the update wouldnt even load to fix the issue. How can a company know of issues but refuse to fix them?.

El vehículo en marcha, se siente ruido y haloneo, que se siente como si se fuera a apagar. El radio se puso negro y dejó DE funcionar. Luego en varias ocasiones, el carro no prende. Además el vehículo en marcha, prende el check engine y un mensaje "servicio DE trasmision". En el dealer supuestamente le cambiaron la tcm DE la trasmision, pero luego, el vehiculo vuelve a presentar el mismo problema, "check engine", servicio DE trasmision". En el dealer alegan que solucionan el problema, pero el mismo ya se ha presentado en 3 o 4 ocasiones. Tengo un auto "limon".

Ever since we purchased the vehicle in 2013 we have had issues with it. I have taken it in numerous times as the panel would just go blank from time to time and heater would go full blast no way to control radio or anything through the panel. I would also complain that the gear shifter would stick meaning only when I would be in reverse it would stick and not go into drive unless you forced it to the left and back into drive it would catch the gear. This has been a non going thing through the dealership we went as far as filing a complaint with Chrysler as that is the number dealership referred us too. They said it was a defective car, but we got no where with it and finally warranty was up and then they wanted alot of money to replace the panel after it had been replaced before by them. Our chart is probably so thick in regards to the same wrong malfunction. It only happens during the winter months as right now its doing it again and I am sure with the sticking and us needing to force it into drive is probably not a good thing either. I have thrown my hands up in the air with this car and trying to get someone to help me, but I can not afford to buy a new car. I would just like for someone to do right by this lemon they make it so hard to constantly try and followup or they keep giving us different numbers with no call back. So if you could please do a report on this and look into this for me. I would truly appreciate it.
