1 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 05/15/2014

The contact owns a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving at 50 mph, the horn and cruise control failed to function and the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 04v480000 (air bags). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 97,000.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 09/08/2004

While driving with the cruise control set on 72 mph vehicle accelerated up to 94 mph. Consumer disengaged the cruise control. However, vehicle continued to accelerate. As a result, consumer turned the vehicle off, and took the key out of the ignition. The vehicle finally stopped. No impact reported.
