The parking brake cable routing on Dodge g caravan, 2005, sxt. The cable is rubbing the rear vertical sway bar link causing the rubber on the line to deteriorate and possibly cause breakage of the cable thus leading to parking brake failure. The parking brake cable was re-routed to avoid contact with the sway bar link.
The parking release brake on my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan is very close to the lever one steps on to engage the brake. When releasing the parking break the lever has hit my hand several times. The last time may have broken my middle finger.
