My airbag light has been illuminated for some time now. It goes off and on but for several days it's been on constantly. I called Dodge because they're is an open recall for something totally different. I mentioned this and they said there's is no recall for it but I can pay a $130 diagnostic fee to see what's wrong. Now, I've searched this website and I have see the very same complaint from several consumers. Shouldn't that raise a red flag!? why are we all having the same exact problems with the same exact make and model? I will be contacting Dodge and have them do something about this. I have a 16 year old driver and I can't in good faith even put her behind the wheel. I will never purchase another Dodge. Every since I have purchased this car it's been recall after recall. I've never in my life had this problem with my other cars and it's insane! I'm calling Dodge!.

One month after purchasing the 2017 Dodge Journey the airbag light came on while driving the vehicle. Took the vehicle to a certified Dodge dealer and they informed us that the airbag wireing harness located under the drivers front seat was faulty. The told us the airvagwireing harness is not covered under any warranty and that the new replacement airbag wireing harness would cost around $800. The airbag light still goes on & off randomly while the vehicle is being driven. It doesn't matter if it is being driven straight or on curves or turning. It just randomly comes on when the vehicle is being driven.
