Tl-the contact owns a 2005 Dodge Magnum. The contact stated the shifter will not shift out of park. The left the contact stranded due to the shift lever not moving out of park. The contact notice a NHTSA campaign I. D. Number 08v583000 (power train:automatic transmission:lever and linkage:column shift) and took the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer informed the contact the year of the vehicle was not included in the recall. The contact stated the gear shifter can move out of gear unexpectedly and cause a crash.
