Beginning about April 2007 (I bought the car new in June 2004), I began having a problem after every refueling - the car stalls out while driving. It takes 3 or 4 attempts at restart, then starts, only to stall within 5 minutes or so of more driving. This has happened many times, and my car has been to the dealer 3 times and it will not misbehave for the dealer. It seems that it only happens when the car is below 1/4 tank at refueling, so I have avoided problems by filling up before that point. However, I tested it today, drove it below 1/4 tank, refueled, and it did it again. Note - I only use the appropriate grade gas and only chevron - never any other brand. I never top off. I have asked the dealer to check the fuel filter, fuel delivery system, to no avail. They insist that the "computer says its fine" this is a dangerous situation because the car stalls while I am driving, not just idling.
