Six problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 1997 Dodge Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Passenger side air bag randomly deployed, while going 4 miles per hour, there was no impact to initiate the deployment of airbag. The deployment busted out the passenger side airbag with such force that it blew glass to the complete other side of the vehicle.
Upon impact the driver's side air bag deployed, upon inspection of the air bag there were noticeable holes in the air bag. Nlm.
While driving approximately 35 mph and without any contact to vehicle both driver's side and front passenger's side airbags deployed. Deployment caused both driver's side and passenger's side windows to shatter.

When traveling on wet pavement/upon depressing brake pedal the vehicle went into a skid, consumer was involved in a rear end collision in which the driver's and passenger's side air bags deployed, causing the windshield to blow out. Please provide any further details.
Was driving along approximately 40mph,when vehicle ahead of me made a sudden stop and I ran into the back of the vehicle. Neither driver's or passenger's side air bags deployed. Vehicle is in for repairs.
