While driving 45 mph consumer heard a grinding/popping noise coming from the front. Vehicle was taken to a repair shop, and had both lower control arms on both sides replaced. The repair shop informed the consumer that a recall was issue for this failure (recall 99v-114). The consumer contacted both the dealer and the manufacturer and was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall.
