6 Air Bag Not Deploy problem of the 2008 Dodge Nitro

Failure Date: 05/08/2014

The airbags failed to deploy when I was in an accident. I t-boned another vehicle at approximately 35 mph, when they turned into my path. I hit the car squarely in the rear passenger door. Both vehicles came to rest 90+ degrees clockwise from the direction we were traveling. The plastic front bumper, grill, fenders, and inner fenders were destroyed. The right side front tire of my Nitro was pushed back about 3" from its normal position. The center support of the bumper was broken and pushed about 12" into the radiator. I am sure there is a defect that prevented the air bags from working.
