Two problems related to door latch have been reported for the 1996 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle locks consumer out intermittently. Dealership is aware of problem. When the doors are locked all the consumer has to do is pull the inside door handle and the door opens, this also occurs when the truck is in motion, possible design flaw. Nlm.
While driving vehicle the door opened without any warning. That is a safety defect.
