High/low Beam Switch problems of the 1996 Dodge RAM

Two problems related to high/low beam switch have been reported for the 1996 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 High/low Beam Switch problem

Failure Date: 12/29/1998

While driving driver smelt something burning and the compartment filled up with smoke, and the headlight switch burned up. Owner replaced headlight switch himself. Problem was reported to Chrysler.

2 High/low Beam Switch problem

Failure Date: 04/26/1998

Low beam headlight failed.
