Two problems related to other fuel system hoses lines/piping, and fittings have been reported for the 1996 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel shut off valve does not work properly; return fuel line leaking. The problem is causing wear and tear on the starter and battery, and now theres a strong deisel smell. Consumer took car to dealer and parts have been on back order for 8 weeks.
Vehicle would not start because there was a hole in the fuel return line which resulted in leakage.
