Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 1998 Dodge RAM

While driving,the consumer tried to avoid another vehicle that was coming inside of the lane. When the consumer applied the brakes, the pedal went to the floor. The consumer was unable to maintain control of the vehicle and hit a guard rail and flipped into a ditch. Both air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained head injuries. The driver went to the hospital on his own. The vehicle was towed and totaled by the insurance company. Please provide additional information.

Another vehicle turned in front of consumer's vehicle and it was t-boned by consumer's vehicle which was traveling 45-50 mph. Upon impact, air bags failed to deploy. Driver sustained some soft tissue injuries to the back.

While driving 70 mph vehicle was involved in a head on collision. Upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy, and passenger sustained lower arm injuries.

Air bags failed to deploy when vehicle was involved in an accident, traveling at approximately 35 mph. The vehicle sustained severe front end damage, the impact was so severe that it caused the vehicle to turn 140 degrees almost rolling on the passenger side window, consumer was injured in accident.

While driving 45mph, hit another vehicle unexpectedly at a frontal impact which caused steering to lock up, and brakes to fail. Upon impact, driver and passenger airbags did not deploy, which did not protect the occupants. No prior problems with the airbag system.

Southbound mustang lost control on wet street, spun into opposite lane of traffic. Northbound Dodge Ram truck t-boned out of control mustang at 50 mph. Both driver's and passenger's air bags of Dodge truck failed to deploy. Belted Dodge Ram truck driver broke right leg and kneecap.

Quad cab; consumer was driving at approximately 30 mph,hit a vehicle that had pulled out in front, and dual airbags did not deploy. Also, driver's side shoulder belt did not lock, causing driver to hit windshield. No prior warning of defects.

While traveling approximately 35mph, drunk driver turned in front of Ram. The vehicle was broadsided by Ram & the dueal air bags did not deploy upon impact.

Driver lost control and slid cross ways, across the highway, and busted the rear axel. Truck flipped over, and front bumper went into front tire, and the airbags did not deploy. Truck was totalled.

While driving, the air bag did not deploy and the truck was torn up.

Consumer's wife experienced acceleration after shifting gear into drive. Vehicle went out of control, causing consumer to strike a tree. Also both air bags did not deploy. Dealer/manufacturer notified.
