Four problems related to headlights have been reported for the 1999 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer stated that while driving, adjusting the position of the steering wheel "one notch" down and the headlights failed. Consumer then adjusting wheel "one notch" up and the headlights came back on. Vehicle is currently being serviced by dealer. Ts.
When switched from hi beam to low complete loss of headlights.
While driving using headlights go out, and driver is unable to have complete view.
While traveling at night with high beams dimmerd high light for another vehicle to pass. However, headlight system failed without any indication, causing poor visibility, and resulting in loss control of vehicle. Please provide further information.
