Rear Suspension problems of the 1999 Dodge RAM

Four problems related to rear suspension have been reported for the 1999 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 07/07/2002

While diving at 70 mph and without warning rear dual left wheel broke off. Brake system flew out, and vehicle had major damage. Dealer has been notified, however, was unable to remedy the problem.

2 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2001

While driving at 50mph their is a vibration in rear axle of vehicle.

3 Rear Suspension problem

At highway speeds, if the vehicle hits a small bump, it vibrates so violently it you almost drive off the road.

4 Rear Suspension problem

Axle broke without warning while driving at approximately 25-30 mph, causing vehicle to run into ditch and rollover.
