Front Suspension problems of the 2000 Dodge RAM

Four problems related to front suspension have been reported for the 2000 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/30/2001

This is a life threatening issue. Front end collapsed while driving.

2 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2001

When applying brake pedal while driving at a highway speeds vehicle will pull to left, causing poor vehicle control. Consumer has contacted dealer, and dealer has yet to make any changes.

3 Front Suspension problem

When driving between 38-45 mph or when making a left or right hand front end bounce as if the vehicle is out of round. Consumer has contacted the dealer. As a possible cause, all four tires and two rims were replaced. The repair shop states that the front end bouncing is normal.

4 Front Suspension problem

When driving at speeds between 50-60 mph entire front end will shake, gradually getting worse. Dealer is aware of problem in vehicles with v6 engines.
