Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 2000 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After the vehicle is turned on engine surges, causing the forward movement of approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Also, a "grinding noise" coming from the rear of vehicle during normal operation. Dealership recommended use of a special synthetic oil and performing a series of maneuvers in a parking lot to loosen the clutch. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
Vehicle accelerates when braking do to accelerators design and proximity to the brake.
