Car Stall problems of the 2001 Dodge RAM

Two problems related to car stall have been reported for the 2001 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 08/08/2001

While driving, vehicle will stall out without any warning. Dealer contacted. *akdealer repalced ais motor, reset fuel memory in pcm and replaced map sensors. However problem still exists. Prndl is loose. Dealer adjusted prndle.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 10/09/2000

On several occasions, while driving, consumer states clutch seized and vehicle stalled. Dealer replaced clutch assembly and flywheel and found clutch disc burned out. Customer states the transmission clunks when shifting. Customer states vehicle will buck when attempting to start in 1st gear. Vehicle shudders when driving and customer has completely lost clutch.
