Consumer writes regarding trailer braking system the consumer stated when pulling a trailer, the factory installed trailer brake control will deliver up to 10 volts to the trailer brakes only when operating the hand control. By contrast, the brake pedal will not deliver any more than a few volts to the trailer and is inadequate to stop the vehicle.
