Two problems related to frame and members have been reported for the 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My dash in my 2000 Dodge ram all of a sudden has cracked all across the right side has not been hit or abused but is very ugly and irritating because of the care I have given my truck.
2000 Dodge Ram 1500 dashboard completely destroyed. No off roading in vehicle ever. Normal driving conditions. Problem started at around 75,000 miles. Dodge told me to buy some epoxy and that I was on my own. Mechanic cannot put back together after I had heater serviced. Dashboard must be removed in order to access all of the necessary components for servicing the heater. Spoke with Chrysler and they agreed it was defective and wanted to charge me $1000 to repair.
