My truck dash top part started cracking out, at first it had just a small crack on the passenger side and now after driving for couple weeks in a daily basis (I drive less than 30 miles total per day) it just keeps cracking all over. I had before a 2001 Dodge ram and this happend to it also, that you could actually see holes through it. . . . .

I have a 2004 Dodge 1500 4. 7l that recently began to crack on the passenger side of the dashboard. Since the appearance of the cracking, I made two calls to Chrysler to seek assistance in getting it replaced with no success. My first call was on 10/21/2008, I spoke to a lady by the name of cathy, she promised to look into this and give me a call back. I was assigned a ref # 18012888, but never received that call. I called again on 10/31/2008, and spoke to a lady named sheryl who was extremely rude and even threaten to cut off the call, because I asked her why am I repeating information I already gave in my first call. She told me that I needed to follow up with the dealership, which I explained to her that they did not take any information and it was the dealership that told me to call them (csn 800-992-1997). I am still waiting for her to call back. I find this a travesty that this is the one of the few times I decided to buy an american vehicle and this is how I get treated. I will never by american again. . Read more...
