2 Fuel Injection problem

Failure Date: 07/08/2004

My Dodge quadcab hemi began vibrating excessively at around 750 miles and the engine light came on. I called the dealership and they said as long as the light wasn't blinking, it was safe to drive. However, they recommended that I pull into the closest dealership to get it checked out to make sure it was safe to drive the hour I had to go to get home. By the time I got to the dealership, the truck was stalling and blowing blue smoke out the back with a strong gasoline smell. After a week of waiting, it was finally determined that the fuel injectors leaked fuel into the engine. They have discussed replacing the long block, but say that it is a restricted item and they have to pull one off the assembly line and don't know when that will happen. I am still waiting to find out when I may get my truck back. I asked them to just replace the truck since it is so new, but they say at the dealership that it between me and Chrysler and the TX lemon laws. I've had no luck even getting a response from Chrysler.
