Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 - part 2

On sept. 4, 2008 at a bout 2:30 am. On my way home from work, I was run off of the road. My 2005 Ram 1500 made a front end contact at about 40 mph an d pushed the bumper about a foot and a half back and under the truck. The airbag did not deploy. As a result I have a broken nose, a broken finger and very bruised ribs. I love my truck but don't feel safe in it after this wreck. Sincerely, eric s. Mcgee.

Vehicle was involved in 2 separate accidents. Air bags did not deploy in either. Vehicle was repaired at dealership after first accident. Driver sustained injuries which has disabled him since 11/2007.

Involved in low speed crash. Airbag did not deploy. Lap/shoulder harness didn't restrain me. Suffered fracture nose. . Hematoma of eye. . . Truck suffered a lot of front end damage.

My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab truck was involved in an accident. Air bags never deployed on this vehicle. The truck was hit in the right front area, the bumper was knocked up into the engine compartment. I was slammed against the steering wheel and the drivers door in this collision. The consumer's son was driving when vehicle swerved to miss a deer and it tipped over into a ditch while driving 30 mph. Upon impact, the air bag did not deploy. The vehicle would not shut off until it was put into park. The consumer drove the vehicle back home. Later it was taken to a body shop, which did not have diagnostic equipment. They said that there was hardly any transmission fluid. Oil leaked through transmission tube under the hood. The manufacturer stated that air bags will deploy when driving forward. He told them that according to the vehicles computers it did not show it had been in an accident. The frame was dented, and there was an injury.

2005 Dodge ram srt left rear wheel broke away from the axle resulting in a rollover and the air bags did not deploy.
